The Georgia Strait Alliance - a great local conservation group based in Victoria working to protect and preserve the magnificent coastline of British Columbia. The southern resident orcas and their salmon prey are declining in the Salish Sea, and this group works to address a variety of the threats.
Southern Idaho Sailing Outreach - working to provide sailing opportunities and education in the Boise area, especially for youth. Sailing can be such a great activity to get kids outdoors and active, challenged with learning a fun skill, and builds confidence and independence with the chance to be in command and responsible for their own small boat.
